
SC asks Centre to reconsider NEET-SS qualifying percentile cut-off
India’s Supreme Court has urged the government to revisit the qualifying percentile for the NEET‑SS exam, citing concern over a number of vacant seats. The bench highlighted that many seats remain empty, calling for a policy review to ensure allocation. While the Centre said it is prepared to hold a ‘stray’ round of admissions, it has so far refused to lower the required percentile threshold.
