CMRL pay-off case: Pinarayi’s son-in-law and CPI(M) leader Mohamed Riyas vows to ‘legally fight’ ED charges
CPI(M) leader Mohamed Riyas, son‑in‑law of Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, responded to Enforcement Directorate allegations in the CMRL pay‑off case. In a Facebook post he said he will contest the charges in court and condemned individuals he accused of sensationalising the investigation, and urged due process. The remarks followed the ED’s filing of charges against him.
