TTD to provide ₹2 lakh life insurance cover for pilgrims who die of natural causes in Tirumala
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) announced new insurance provisions for pilgrims, offering a ₹2 lakh life cover for deaths due to natural causes and raising accidental coverage to ₹10 lakh. It also extended employee health facility benefits to retired CPS/NPS pensioners and their families. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will present silk garments to Lord Venkateswara on September 15, marking the start of the nine‑day Brahmotsavams.
