Mental health wellness centre for GCC workers opened
India has inaugurated a mental‑health wellness centre aimed at supporting workers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The facility, located in a major Indian city, offers counseling, stress‑management workshops, and tele‑psychiatry services to address the psychological challenges faced by expatriate laborers. It is a joint effort between the Ministry of Labour and a private health provider, targeting improved well‑being for overseas Indian workers.
