SCoR commissions Automatic Block Signalling on 22-km stretch in Vijayawada Division
South Central Railway has inaugurated an Automatic Block Signalling system on a 22‑kilometre segment of its Vijayawada Division. The upgrade extends the ABS network from Gudur to Sri Venkateswarapalem, bringing total route coverage to roughly 76.5 kilometres. Officials say the new signalling will enhance train safety, increase line capacity and boost overall operational efficiency for passengers.
