VMC cracks down on unhygienic conditions in Vijayawada eateries
Vijayawada Municipal Corporation conducted health inspections at restaurants on K.T. Road and B.R.P. Road, uncovering breaches in kitchen sanitation, restroom conditions and drinking‑water safety. As a result, three establishments received ₹2,000 penalties, while two additional venues were served notices to rectify the issues. The action aims to improve hygiene standards in the city’s food outlets.
