Three Bank of Baroda officials held for gold-loan racket in Jangareddygudem
Police in Jangareddygudem detained a branch manager, a joint manager and a credit officer of Bank of Baroda following the arrest of a jewellery appraiser linked to a gold‑loan fraud. Investigators say the officials replaced genuine ornaments stored in bank lockers with counterfeit pieces. Authorities recovered about 4.12 kg of gold and roughly ₹10 lakh during the raid.
