CET: 24,283 unallocated engineering seats handed over to colleges
According to The Hindu, the Common Entrance Test resulted in 24,283 engineering seats remaining unfilled, which will now be transferred to individual colleges across the state. Nursing also faced a large shortfall, with only 13,407 of 36,238 seats allocated, leaving 22,832 vacant. Authorities plan to distribute these unallocated seats to institutions to fill the gaps in the upcoming academic year.
