Land grab probe: Custodial interrogation of Abhishek Banerjee’s PA needed, West Bengal tells SC
West Bengal has asked the Supreme Court to permit the custodial questioning of a personal assistant to senior Trinamool leader Abhishek Banerjee as part of a land‑grab investigation. The court is hearing a petition by Mr Roy that challenges a Calcutta High Court order denying him pre‑arrest bail in the Salboni case. The plea, filed on August 3, was heard on Tuesday.
