FDA suspends food licences of IRCTC supplier, 3 ISKCON establishments in Mumbai
India’s Food Safety and Standards Authority has suspended the licences of a catering firm that supplies the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation and three ISKCON outlets in Mumbai. The action is part of a statewide enforcement drive targeting establishments that breach hygiene and safety regulations, a campaign intensified after IAS officer Tukaram Mundhe assumed the FDA commissioner role in May.
