DMK names candidates for Madurantakam, Dharapuram bypolls in Tamil Nadu
The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has announced its candidates for two upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly by‑elections. Deputy secretary of the party’s legal wing, I. Paranthamen, will contest the Madurantakam seat, while S. Suganya has been selected for the Dharapuram constituency. Both nominations aim to retain the party’s presence in the region. The announcements were made ahead of the scheduled voting dates in early 2024.
