No complaints received on damage by ethanol-blended petrol: Telangana Transport Minister
Telangana’s transport minister, Ponnam Prabhakar, reported that authorities have not received any grievances regarding vehicle damage from the recently introduced 20% ethanol‑blended gasoline (E20). He noted that while the fuel mix may cause a modest 3‑5% decline in engine power and fuel efficiency, no adverse incidents have been logged. The department continues to monitor performance and assures consumers that the blend meets safety standards.
