Over 20 BRS members suspended from Telangana Assembly for remainder of monsoon session
More than twenty legislators from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi were barred from participating in the remainder of Telangana's monsoon assembly session. The suspension followed their disruptive protests in response to comments made about Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. The decision was taken by the speaker, citing breach of parliamentary decorum, and will keep the members out until the session ends.
