Karnataka to add 10,000 acres more to Pavagada Solar Park: Energy Minister
Karnataka plans to expand the Pavagada Solar Park by adding 10,000 acres, raising the state's renewable energy capacity. Already hosting about 27.3 GW of renewables—11.5 GW solar and 8.5 GW wind—the move aims to add roughly 2 GW of solar output in the coming years, supporting the state’s goal of 30 GW of solar power by 2025 and further strengthening Karnataka's position as a renewable energy leader.
