Not involved, says government amid controversy over religious group’s Eiffel Tower tour
India’s External Affairs Ministry has stated it is not involved in a dispute between the BAPS religious group and the Eiffel Tower management over a planned tour. The ministry said the issue is solely between the two parties. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier inaugurated the BAPS temple in Paris via video link for followers.
