One held for attempting to murder prison officer in Keralam
Ashish, a repeat offender, assaulted prison officer Prajith in the Chala market, Thiruvananthapuram, on July 18, 2026. The attack followed a prior feud. Police recovered a weapon and evidence of the assault. Prajith was injured but received treatment at a nearby hospital. Authorities detained Ashish for attempting to murder the officer; the case is under investigation.
