President grants Ladakh L-G additional duties of J&K
President of India has assigned the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Manoj Sinha, additional responsibilities for Jammu and Kashmir while he remains on leave. The move follows the central government’s decision to centralise administration in the region. Sinha’s appointment expands his jurisdiction, but he will continue to work remotely until a replacement is named in the coming weeks.
