Ladakh administration asks activist Sonam Wangchuk’s wife to stop ‘unauthorised activities’ at their Leh school

The Ladakh administration has asked the wife of activist Sonam Wangchuk, Gitanjali Angmo, to cease what it calls unauthorized activities at their school in Leh. Angmo had requested a No‑Objection Certificate and clearance for proposed members of the school's managing committee. The deputy commissioner has urged her to halt the work. The move follows concerns about the school's governance and potential conflicts of interest.
