Self-reliance means technological sovereignty, not just indigenous manufacturing: Rajnath Singh

During the third Delhi Defence Dialogue, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted that India’s pursuit of self-reliance focuses on technological sovereignty rather than solely domestic manufacturing. He outlined four pillars—defence reforms, Aatmanirbharta, international partnerships, and exports—that underpin strategic autonomy. Production hit a record ₹1.78 lakh crore in 2025‑26, while exports reached ₹38,424 crore in the current fiscal year.
