Extension of MEMU to Ernakulam raises concerns among Kottayam-Kollam commuters
The 66315 MEMU train, which normally departs Kottayam for Kollam at 5:40 p.m., will now start from Ernakulam at 5:25 p.m. and arrive in Kottayam by 6:45 p.m. The change, announced by Indian Railways, has raised concerns among commuters traveling between Kottayam and Kollam, who worry about longer travel times and reduced convenience. The adjustment also affects the timetable for local passengers and may require additional coordination.
