NHAI improves road safety at two accident-prone junctions on NH-44 in Bengaluru
India’s National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has upgraded safety features at two high‑risk intersections on the NH‑44 corridor in Bengaluru. At Byatarayanapura and Kodigehalli, the agency installed pedestrian crossings, refuge islands and new footpaths aimed at significantly lowering the number of accidents and related deaths. The measures target improved traffic flow and pedestrian protection.
