Telangana SIR: Address change applications at odds with enumeration forms ending up in deletion of voters
The Telangana State Election Commission reported that numerous Form 8 applications for changing voter addresses were turned down after the applicants were removed from the electoral roll. During the recent enumeration phase, officials could not locate many electors at their previously recorded addresses, leading to their deletion from the rolls and subsequent denial of address‑change requests.
