Alex Mitchell out of Nations Championship opener in fresh England injury blow
England's Northampton scrum‑half Alex Mitchell suffered a hamstring injury, ruling him out of the Nations Championship opener against Australia. The injury comes ahead of England's subsequent matches against New Zealand and Japan. Mitchell's absence will affect the team's back‑line options and could influence squad selection for the rest of the tournament. This development adds uncertainty to England's strategy as they prepare for the high‑stakes fixtures.
