Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has ordered the Karnataka Milk Federation to lower curd prices after widespread criticism from hotel operators and consumers. The state government had defended the recent price hike, but the backlash prompted the CM to intervene. KMF officials said the new price list is being revised and will be announced shortly.
