Delhi chokes: AQI 324, plunges to ‘very poor’; Stage-II GRAP invoked
Delhi's air quality deteriorated sharply, with the Air Quality Index climbing from a moderate 117 on Oct. 31 to 261, classified as poor, on Nov. 1, and then surging to 324, labeled very poor. In response, the Central Pollution Control Board's GRAP sub‑committee activated the Stage‑II Graded Response Action Plan to address the worsening pollution levels in the city.
