Karnataka HC nominates ADGP Hitendra as new head of SIT to probe KPSC cases
India's Karnataka High Court appointed Additional Director General of Police Hitendra as the new chief of the Special Investigation Team tasked with examining alleged irregularities in Karnataka Public Service Commission examinations. The court also instructed the state government to keep all SIT members stationed in Bengaluru and barred any transfers until the probe is concluded.
