Bengaluru Central Prison announced it is now free of prohibited items. Six convicted inmates received a 30‑day sentence reduction after taking part in a three‑hour prison‑produced play, titled Raja Satyavrata or Shani Prabhava, which was written, directed and performed entirely by prisoners. The production was staged within the prison walls, involving inmates in all creative roles.
