Tamil Nadu government reconstitutes State Board for Wildlife
Tamil Nadu's government has formed a new State Board for Wildlife, replacing the previous panel whose non‑official members' terms ended. The reconstitution follows a request from the state's Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Chief Wildlife Warden. The earlier board had been reorganized in April 2022, and the latest changes aim to maintain oversight of wildlife conservation.
