Aadhav Arjuna calls for a separate flag for Tamil Nadu
Aadhav Arjuna, a political activist, has urged the Tamil Nadu government to enact legislation that would establish a distinct state flag. He argues the flag should be officially displayed by Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on key dates, specifically November 1, the day of the state’s formation, and July 18, the anniversary of the first legislative assembly. The proposal seeks to reinforce regional identity.
