Gem Veeramani case: Greater Chennai Police seek cancellation of Prakash Kanniah’s passport
Greater Chennai Police have requested the cancellation of businessman Prakash Kanniah’s passport after the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing POCSO Act cases held an identification parade at Puzhal central prison. The parade, conducted on Tuesday, let a victim identify alleged perpetrators from photographs. Police say revoking the passport will prevent Kanniah from traveling abroad while the investigation proceeds.
