Central teams assess ‘Cyclone Arnab’ damage on Kakinada, Narsapuram coast
Central authorities are evaluating the damage caused by Cyclone Arnab along the Kakinada and Narsapuram coastlines. The storm destroyed about 90 km of coastal roads, wrecked 579 boats, and destroyed over 1,000 fishing nets, severely disrupting local livelihoods. Teams are also inspecting damage to fishing vessels and aquaponds in the Narsapuram area and the surrounding fishing communities.
