Five persons arrested for circulating counterfeit currencies in Vellore
Police in Vellore arrested five men for allegedly distributing fake currency. The individuals, identified as Mohammed Rafiq, 48, Ahmed, 56, Kamaraj, 32, Gopal, 51, and Babu, 59, reside in the nearby towns of Gudiyatham and Ambur. Authorities said the arrests were part of an ongoing statewide effort to curb counterfeit money circulation recently in the region.
