Uttam wants Tummidihatti alignments keeping in mind eco issues, asks for realistic solutions
The minister, Uttam, emphasized the need to align the Tummidihatti project with environmental concerns and requested practical measures. He noted that raising the full reservoir level to 152 metres would boost storage to about 5.7 tmc ft, compared with roughly 2.2 tmc ft at the current 148‑metre level, effectively more than doubling capacity for water management in the region.
