India’s Central Crime Branch is investigating a fabricated video that purportedly shows former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah being trapped. The probe links the operation to the Delhi home of former chief minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, noting that the mobile phone used to upload the clip was bought in Karol Bagh. Two individuals alleged to have assisted the scheme have fled.
