Nearly a year after its due date, Kannada Sahitya Sammelana still not held
The Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, which was supposed to convene almost a year after its scheduled deadline, remains postponed. The previous gathering took place in December 2024 in Mandya. Karnataka’s chief minister, Siddaramaiah, had included a ₹10 crore grant for the event in the 2025‑26 state budget, but the summit has yet to be organized as of now.
