Anthropic blocks users for anything touching training larger models
Anthropic announced that it will prohibit users from employing its AI services to develop or fine‑tune larger language models. The policy bars any activity that could contribute to training models exceeding Anthropic’s own size, aiming to prevent competitive replication and mitigate misuse. Violations may result in account suspension, the company said. The restriction applies globally and covers both API and cloud‑based offerings.
