Two Kakinada government teachers suspended after inquiry into sexual assault complaints by students
Two government teachers in Kakinada – a physical‑science instructor and a physical‑education teacher – have been suspended effective Sept 7 following departmental inquiries into sexual‑assault allegations made by students. The district education officer confirmed the action, while police have opened a case concerning the death of one of the complainants. The DEO said the suspension will stay pending further inquiry, and police are examining the death.
