T.N. govt. raises DA for its employees from 60% to 63%
Tamil Nadu announced that the Dearness Allowance for its staff will rise from 60% to 63%. The adjustment applies to roughly 1.6 million individuals, including government workers, teachers, pensioners and family pensioners, and is intended to offset rising living costs. The increase, affecting about 16 lakh beneficiaries, is part of the state’s effort to mitigate inflationary pressures on public sector wages.
