‘Internal democracy’, not ‘rebellion’, NC says of 17 MLAs meeting over party affairs
National Conference leader described a gathering of 17 legislators as an exercise in internal democracy rather than a rebellion. The group sent a list of demands to Chief Minister Dr. Abdullah, calling for renewed efforts to restore statehood, fulfillment of the 2024 election manifesto within six months, removal of the chief minister’s advisor Wani, and a review of Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary’s portfolios.
