Vigilance probe into KIIFB land acquisition in Kannur a sub-standard political drama: Pinarayi Vijayan
Kerala's vigilance department has opened an investigation into the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board's purchase of nearly 4,900 acres in Kannur, valued at about ₹12,240 crore. Opposition leader Pinarayi Vijayan dismissed the probe as a low‑quality political drama, saying the acquisition continued a two‑decade plan linked to the Kannur airport project and the Kochi‑Bengaluru industrial corridor.
