ZP, TP elections to be held by January, says Eshwar Khandre
State government plans to conduct Zilla Parishad and Taluk Panchayat elections no later than January, minister Eshwar Khandre said. The draft election schedule was opened for objections until October 19, drawing more than 2,000 responses. Officials said the feedback will be reviewed before finalizing the timetable. The notification is pending final approval, and the schedule aims to meet constitutional timelines for local body elections.
