DA for Tamil Nadu government employees increases from 60% to 63%
The Tamil Nadu government has raised the dearness allowance for its staff, moving the rate from 60 percent to 63 percent. The adjustment will apply to roughly 1.6 million individuals, including civil servants, teachers, retirees and their families, providing them with higher cost‑of‑living compensation. Effective from April, the change was announced in a recent government order.
