‘Distorians’ cannot erase the profound respect Indira Gandhi had for Vallabhbhai Patel: Jairam Ramesh
On the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel and the death anniversary of Indira Gandhi, senior politician Jairam Ramesh posted a rare 1947 photograph showing a young Indira Gandhi greeting Patel. He said the image demonstrates her deep respect for Patel, countering claims by “Distorians” that she did not value him. The picture was shared on social media as part of the commemorations.
