Union Minister Puri files nomination papers for Rajya Sabha bypoll in MP
Union Minister Puri has submitted his nomination for the Rajya Sabha by‑election in Madhya Pradesh. The Bharatiya Janata Party nominated him to fill the vacancy created after L. Murugan resigned from both the Union cabinet and the Upper House earlier this month. Murugan’s six‑year term was originally set to conclude in April 2030. The bypoll will decide the successor for the remaining term.
