Telangana extends ‘Instant pension’ facility beyond old-age pension category for women
Telangana's government has broadened its 'Instant Pension' scheme for women, previously limited to old‑age beneficiaries, to cover additional groups. Eligible families now include those of persons with disabilities, toddy tappers, handloom weavers, dialysis patients and individuals affected by HIV or filariasis. The expansion aims to provide immediate financial support to these vulnerable households across the state.
