Keralam invites EoI for social impact study for Vizhinjam port expansion
Kerala has called for expressions of interest to conduct a social impact assessment of the Vizhinjam port expansion. The study will examine how the project could affect jobs and livelihoods, and pinpoint which communities might be most vulnerable. Findings are expected to guide mitigation measures and policy decisions for the port’s development in the upcoming fiscal year, to support sustainable growth.
