5-MeO-DMT sometimes cancels the Ebbinghaus illusion
Researchers found that the psychedelic compound 5‑MeO‑DMT can diminish the perception of the Ebbinghaus visual illusion in some participants. In a controlled experiment, subjects administered the substance reported reduced size‑contrast effects compared to placebo.
