Jains urge State govt. to consider demands immediately, express solidarity with seer on sallekhana
Members of the Digambar Jain Samaj and the Digambar Jain Boarding, linked to the Dakshin Bharat Jain Sabha, have written to the state government urging immediate action on a list of longstanding demands. The groups also voiced support for a Jain seer who has undertaken sallekhana, the religious fast‑to‑death practice, calling for respect of his decision.
