Azure's Weakest Link – Five Full Cross-Tenant Compromises
Security researchers reported five instances where attackers breached Microsoft Azure by moving laterally across separate tenant environments. The compromises stemmed from misconfigured resources and insufficient isolation, allowing unauthorized access to data and services in multiple customers’ clouds. Microsoft has issued advisories, applied mitigations promptly, and urged users to immediately review permissions and apply recommended hardening measures.
