Retd. IAS officer S. Natarajan is Tamil Nadu Chief Information Commissioner
Retired Indian Administrative Service officer S. Natarajan has been named the Chief Information Commissioner for Tamil Nadu. Alongside him, four former officials—S. Mahalakshmi, T.K. Shabeer, C.B. Meena and P. Mahalingam—have been appointed as State Information Commissioners, completing the new panel responsible for overseeing the state's right‑to‑information framework. The government said the panel will improve the efficiency of information disclosures across departments.
